How can folds and creases on my face be treated ?
The creases and folds that deepen on your face, such as those from your nose to the corner of your mouth, nasolabial folds, they can easily and simply be filled out using dermal fillers.
What are dermal fillers ?
Dermal fillers, such as Restylane, are a crystal-clear gel form of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. The hyaluronic acid holds water, which hydrates and gives volume to the skin. Dermal fillers have been used for a long time for their healing properties and are also used for treating gum disorders. You'll find them referred by their trade names such as Restylane and Hydrofil.
They are used for wrinkles, and deep folds such as the nasolabial area (lines that run from nose to mouth) and the glabellar region (frown lines between the brow) they are also used for augmentation of the lips ad for filling out acne scars and other types of tissue deficiencies.
How are they applied ?
The application of these treatments is by injection. A process that is both very simple to administer and that takes little time, sometimes only half an hour. As with any injection to the sensitive tissues of your face, you may experience some tenderness or slight swelling for a few hours after the injection, but most people report little discomfort and the benefits can be seen within a few days.
How are frown lines and crows feet treated ?
